The Lyron Structure
Food is prepared on the School’s premises from fresh ingredients. All food is sourced from suppliers within a 25 miles radius and all of our meat comes from a local butcher.
School lunches are excluded in the School fees for all department
Lunch occurs over two sittings to support social distancing, with a hot sit-down meal being provided.
We are also operating a daily ‘Grab and Go’ service. This allows your child to choose between packed lunch and hot options on an ad-hoc basis.
We are looking to introduce a cashless payment system – the card’ which enables parents to top up a payment card for their children – this will be soon communicated
In order to safely manage the dining space, we currently offer a takeaway only service.
Students will go to the dining hall to collect and pay for their food. This will be supervised to encourage hygiene and social distancing. Students will be encouraged to eat outside where possible, or in their form rooms.
Students can also, of course, choose to bring in a packed lunch from home. However, please note, there will be microwaves in School available for reheating food
Additionally, the School runs a shop which sells, drinks, snacks and homemade cakes. The Shop is open at breaktimes, lunchtimes and before and after School.
